Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
